My Creations, Stamping

My parents recently moved, and in the process began unloading years of sentimental knick-knacks to us children. I just opened a box this evening & found my ever so humble beginnings as a crafter. I vaguely remember deciding one day (when I was around 7 years old) that I needed to make my own doll. So I grabbed an old sock, some yarn, buttons, and fabric…and this is what I came up with. Yes… very likely the ugliest doll ever created on the entire planet. *LOL* But I had to post it to give you some laughs.

Hmmmm – no wonder it took me so long to convince you there was an artist in there! Is this from the same time period you learned to make scrunchies? :-)

Yeah – I wasn’t exactly a talented seamstress. Scrunchies & barbie doll nightgowns were the extent of my repertoire. ;)
