Stampendous has a darling line of monkey stamps called Changitos. I picked up a couple at Hobby Lobby recently along with some Copic markers. I only bought a few colors to test them out since they are all the rage right now (but they’re a bit on the pricey side). These cards were my first effort with them. I absolutely love how they blend so nicely and don’t leave any lines! I did a lil’ research online and took the plunge to get a set of alcohol-based markers. Although I like the brush tip of the Copics, you get the same end result with the Prismacolors (they just aren’t refillable). Since the Prismacolors are significantly cheaper, I decided to go that route. I may do some comparison testing when they arrive & post it here.
Both cards used the Nestabilities rectangle diecuts.

The background here is a Cuttlebug embossing folder that just happened to mimic the vine in the stamp. The sentiment stamp is Hero Arts.

Thanks for dropping by!

So here’s a thought…I wonder if you can combine Tsukineko’s Fantastix with alcohol inks to make your own alcohol markers…will have to try that.

I’m guessing it might work! You’d just have to have an air-tight lid on it so it wouldn’t dry out…
