Handmade Baby Gift #1: Stuffed Easter Bunny

March 29, 2009

Sewing/Crochet

A friend of mine had a baby girl a few weeks ago and I decided to make her a few special, handmade gifts. The first is an Easter bunny that came a lil’ early this year. :)

He was made with white fleece and lavender polka dot cotton fabric. The tail is made from fleece as well (if you cut it into strips and stretch it out, it curls!)

Here is the brilliant, free pattern that I used created by Betz White. It is simple to sew, even for beginners, and can be completed in a couple of hours. Betz used buttons for her eyes, but I chose to embroider mine since the baby is still so young. TFL!
