Greetings from Africa – just thought I’d share a lil’ pic I took on safari. Many more to come. This young guy was hanging out in a tree next to our Land Rover…tired from the hot sun (hasn’t grown his mane yet). Luckily, he wasn’t too hungry!

Beautiful Pic! I just recently found your blog. Thank you for sharing your experiences from your travels with us. So wonderful that you chose to do this volunteer work over the holidays. Your blog is very inspirational- filled with so many interests and activities. Seems like you live life to the fullest

Hi Laura,
My mum recently found your blog while searching for mine. Since we have the same name she thought she’d pass it on to me.
Strange thing being that I am also out in Africa volunteering, I’m in Kenya for a year working with young people through an organisation called Inter-Cultural Youth Exchange. I’ll be interested to hear of your adventures when you get around to posting them. If you’re interested in mine you can check out my blog too.
