Here are a couple of Easter Cards I recently made. They both use the new Swiss dot Cuttlebug embossing template I picked up at Hobby Lobby last week.

Card #1 uses Papertrey Ink flowers, border, & sentiment stamp. I created a dimensional window by cutting out a square from an embossed piece of white cardstock & then mounting with foam dots onto the front of a square card.

Card #2 uses a small sentiment from the Mixed Message Papertrey Ink set. I first punched out two squares from an embossed sheet & two pink squares that I randomly stamped with the Easter sentiment. After assembling, I added a dimensional chipboard flower in the center. It was a great find from Target. They actually sell these darling stickers in the giftwrap department. I think you’re supposed to put them on gift bags or something…but they scream cards to me! *LOL* You can get a sheet of around 5 or 6 chipboard stickers for less than $2…this flower came from a set on clearance for 99 cents! The lined border on the card was made using my Scor-pal…I love that thing! What can I say, I’m a sucker for new crafting gadgets. How about you?

Here are a couple of fun ways to package it up for somebody special…
