Thank you card…Rodeo style.

I’ve had this Bronc Buster stamp set for a while and have been wanting to put it to good use with this great patterned paper from W R Memory Keepers. The lasso is some twine I had on hand and was added for dimension, and all the edges were roughed up with my Tonic paper distresser.

Sometimes, it’s hard to come up with ideas for masculine cards (don’t we love to put glitter or ribbon on everything?!) So this is a bit of a departure from the norm, but hopefully it will appeal to the inner cowboy of a friend of mine. LOL Thanks for dropping by.

Supply List – Stamps: Bronc Buster (Stampin’ Up!), Sentiment (PaperTrey Ink); Pattern Paper: W R Memory Keepers; Cardstock: Vanilla & Kraft; Espresso Ink (Ranger); Twine; Photo Corner Punch (Stampin’ Up!); 3 metal brads; dimensional foam dots; Paper Distresser (Tonic).

Sale-a-bration Thanks…

Sale-a-bration Thank You Card

One of my co-workers gave me a wonderful gift today – one of the new Stampin’ Up! sale-a-bration sets! I made her this thank you card tonight using the “so sweet of you” image from the set. I just love how the stamps coordinate perfectly with the SU! scallop circle punch. I can only imagine what it would look like if I tried to cut out all those scallops on my own! *LOL* The scribble image at the top is a Judikins border stamp I picked up a while back & the heart gemstone is from Hero Arts. I went a little sew-happy with the stitching on the top & bottom, but I like the color combo. Reminds me of summer… :)
