Kittycattabella

Ok – one more Bella card for ya this week. This was a second image that my friend stamped off for me to use. I colored her in with a combination of Copics & Prismacolors and added some Basic Grey paper in the background. Kinda summery, cheerful color combo. The sentiment is PaperTrey Ink.

Sposabella

A friend recently gave me a stamped image of Sposabella to use on a card. I took her home & colored her in with some Copics & added some Christmas red stickles to her bouquet. The background of the card uses a Cuttlebug embossing folder & the ribbon is white tulle from the craft store. Tulle always makes me think of weddings…so why not use it as ribbon on your cards!

Chefabella…

I love this Bella image, but never knew quite what to pair it with. I always thought it would be perfect on a thank you card for a hostess, but I had no sentiments to match. So when PaperTrey came out with their mixed message set, I was delighted to find one included! The polka dot background here is from SU! and the cute red flower gemstones are Hero Arts.

Snowbunnybella…

I had a stamping playdate yesterday at my friend’s house and broke out one of the new bella stamps I recently ordered. I had a blast playing with liquid appliqué on her outfit. You just have to be extra careful not to apply too much…because that stuff really grows fast under a heat gun!

Her outfit was paper-pieced with smooth & textured cardstock. The pattern on the jacket was made with a topiary stamp & the wavy sentiment is from Savvy stamps. The paper is shimmer white (hard to see in the photo, but it glistens) & the polka dot pattern in the back is made from patterned vellum that reminded me of snow. Her face, hair, & body shadow were colored with Copic markers. The layered scallop rectangle is from a Nestabilities die. Below are some close-ups. Thanks for looking! :)

Merrybella

I was thrilled to find out that one of my card designs was on the cover of the December issue of Scrap & Stamp Arts.  :D

It features the Merrybella stamp from Stamping Bella.  Their images are great for coloring with your fav pencils/markers or for paper piecing. You can’t tell from the pic, but this Bella had puffy liquid applique on her boots & hat and lots of glitter everywhere else… including myself!  How is it that I can manage to get more glitter on myself than on the paper?!?!? *LOL* The Dec07 SSA issue is available for purchase here.

And don’t forget…there are only a few days left to qualify for blog candy.  You can sign up in this post!!!
