Ribbon Storage

So every time I walk into a craft store…it seems I have an intense urge to buy at least one spool of ribbon. It’s gotta be an addiction, because the crazy thing is … somewhere along the line, I convinced myself that I have an incredibly low supply of it at my house. That was, of course, until I went to organize it last week. Man! I went through 3 packages of wood clothespins & still had some leftover! *LOL*

I like storing ribbon on these old-fashioned clothespins because you don’t end up with kinks & it stores in a relatively small space. You can buy them at Hobby Lobby in packages of 30. I think I first saw this idea at a stamping garage sale here in Dallas two or three years ago. Those of you that follow Nichole Heady’s blog know she stores her ribbon this way as well. Anyways – I picked up this large 1.5 gallon glass container from Target to hold them and have decided that I’m on a ribbon moratorium!
